Last night i watched the Oscars. Though i havent seen the major categories being awarded i've seen the most controversial scene. The scene where a documentary film was awarded. The Oscar winner disgraced U.S. President Bush and abhors the war led by their country against Iraq. He said that they're living in a fictitious world wherein they elect a fictitious president (something like that) saying further that they are lucky because what they are doing are non-fiction films... Anyway, so much for the freedom of speech! I have no qualms against his reaction. In fact, even I detest U.S. for such horrific acts. But put it this way, it should be said at a proper place and at a proper time. I mean he could have said his opinion nicely without generalizing too much. But who can blame the man if what is happening in the world is just plain chaos and could be done in a diplomatic way. I think Bush should have opt to have taken the due process and recommendation of the United Nations. It only shows how the United States are plain dictator of the world.
