Winter, cold and isolated

Never felt winter all my life. I just realised it today that my life here in Australia is a bit icy cold sometimes. I know I have my mates to lighten up my day. But in deep dark reality, I go home every night feeling cold and isolated. Just had a take-away dinner, bought a beer, added chocolate dosage (for the loneliness) and switch on my LCD and watch the medical drama series. Everything seems to be a routine. Sometimes it's up to us to turn it to something extraordinary.

But for the season to be more exciting, I bought my baboy jacket (bubble jacket but I prefer calling it that cos it makes you look like a baboy) with a detachable baboy-ramo hood (it's furry!) . It's cool and I hope it could keep me warm temporarily 'til I found a better sanctuary to relieve this endless misery. But til then, I reckon I should keep the hood on to keep me smiling..

How to stop it?

[ This should have been posted on 17 June. A glitch on my Nokia. My apologies.. ]

I'm homesick not from Manila but from Waverton. I slept for the past two days at ghie's place. Got overdrunk which is funny cos I didn't have any hangover. Went to the handaan of Elisa, which celebrates the christening and birthday of Juaquin Martin and Juan Miguel, respectively.

Upon reaching home I immediately embraced my pillows. Fatigue and homesickness started going on board. I overslept.. Now I'm cranky and hungry. I'm going to Wollies in the city for late night grocery. Havn't done my laundry, missed church, haven't cleaned my room.

The mood that I have awakened the bad idea. All efforts are now wasted and I need to light the bomb. Oh well, it's not yet the time to give it up. I'll do it after blue mountains. When I get home I'll devise a plan on how to stop it.And it would be the greatest gift I can give myself.. If your close to me, you know what the hell I mean.

I just have to defuse this angry me by doing grocery and it'll all be alright, I reckon.

Bangkok Pictures

I've finally uploaded my Bangkok pictures. I'll do Phuket pictures tomorrow if I have time. *I just emailed my manager that I will not go to office tomorrow* Anyway, I created an account with http://www.photoblog.com/ so that I could upload everything in one blow. Too bad there's a restriction of one photo a day.

Just visit this link to see more pictures: Rondzkee's Photoblog. In the mean time, below are some pics I lifted which is kinda interesting.

Bangkok at night! You can't see 'em but there are Thia's dancing around!

Kewl picture! I look like a Samurai!

Temple of the Dawn... Looks like zombies are coming out!

The one who's keeping the temples safe!

The reclining Buddha! It's all shimmering in gold!

At home at last

I was correct after all. Had an hour delayed flight to Sydney. It's really annoying but good thing I have my Ipod to save the day. Just arrived at my pad and I just realised how much I miss Australia. The weather's a bit cold now but I'm loving it. Tomorrow's the Queen's birthday and so it is a holiday. I think I wanna take rest. I'm tired. My ear-pops haven't cleared. And I'm to lazy to open my luggage. Do it all tomorrow, it's holiday anyway. Imma post the pics tomorrow too..

Leaving Thailand

Just had an awesome experience in Thailand. Bangkok and Phuket are equally nice for both shopping and relaxing. Though it maybe a bit dodgy sometimes but I reckon it's still the best vacation I had. Too bad we didn't stay that long in Phuket. I suggest that if you plan to go to Thailand. Think about staying in Phuket for a week and just a day or two for Bangkok shopping and temple tour.

Right now, I'm here at the Thai airport and i think that my flight back to Sydney will be delayed. I feel sorry for a lot of people here whose alcohol that they bought from duty free were confiscated. They can't stop whining like its not a written rule that everyone should know.

It will surely be a long flight. I'm tired and sleepy. Got a raging stomach and poo problem. I just wish I could survive this horrific situation. Arrgggh... It feels bizzare to leave Thailand. I love the tropical sticky feeling. It feels like home. And now i have to face winter. Cold and distant from my family...

far out!

Bunch of noisy indian and shitty music is draining my enthusiasm for the krabi tour. Might as well doze off for now..

last day in phuket

Its the last day in phuket and i just cant imagine leaving so early.. If i only knew that it phuket is much fun than shopping in bangkok. If i only knew that we had an extra days of leave.. I wouldnt leave this haven. So much to do.. Explore.. Rejuvinate.. I must confess there are so much to do here that 3 days is really not enough.. Just sitting here in deevana poolsite. Already checked out. Just waiting for our final tour to krabi and the james bond island. I will surely miss the warmth accomodation of this hotel. I wasnt disappointed at all.

phi phi tour

This day was really fantastic. We started with the island where "the beach" was filmed. I was abit frustrated yesterday since patong beach is not that enchanting. Boracay is way more better. But upon reaching phi phi island awhile ago i realised that this trip is not so bad after all. We also visited monkey island, snorkling, sunbathing, swimming. It was so much fun. Met a lot of people across the world. Realised that half of us were from australia. Now im boarding a boat which is a bit speedy. In 75 minutes i can relax and plan for tomorrows journey.

starbucks' affogato

at long last i finally had a taste of chocolate affogato after almost 8 months! yum!

deevana @ patong, phuket

Our accomodation was really elegant. Its so great that we got a cheap package at deevana. I recommend it if you plan to go to phuket. Ive been organising my itenerary while eating thai food. Resolved that we are going to a planned tour at phi phi islands tomorrow and go adventure hiking at krabi. Today is just a free, uncommited enjoyable day at patong beach and the hotels many amenities.

phuket, howeyu!

Im here at phuket and the weather is fantastic. Just hate our shuttle driver cos he's a scumbag! imagine im with other tourist who expects to be on their destination on time and he doesnt have any petrol. We passed three gasoline stations already. far out!

on my way to phuket

Its really amazing that i have my auto roaming. I did not expect that i will hav connection here in thailand. Mustve been when i signed up. Good thing is that it enables me to blog anywhere, anytime!

now im just waiting for the plane. I guess my assessment for bangkok is that its a good tourist destination especially if want to shop profusely. Endless choices at an affordable prices. Temples are abundant in many shapes and design. Food is superb espcially if u have the guts for spicy food! They are indeed very hospitable and can be compared to filipino because of their warmt and similar appearance. The only con is the transpo.. Not to mention the money hungry tuk tuk drivers.. Ill blog more when im in phuket.. Need to board now..

lost in translation

I feel really lost in a totally foreign country. That is the hard part of going separately without any tour guides. Early morn, were supposed to head to grand palace but the tuktuk driver who doesnt speak much english brought us to grand hotel, which is a bit distant from where we are headed for. I gathered my infallable judgment and just go with my instinct on where we should be heading. I guess i was still inspired upon reading *blink*. But we do have to go through adventure and feel like were on amazing race at the end, we still reached r destination.

fun part about bangkok is the endless thirst for shopping. Everything seems to be reasonably priced and you know you can afford it since youve been living quite long in an expensive city after all. Have tons of pictures taken at wat phra kaew. Tomorrow is for the reclining buddha and the tower of the dawn. Now we have to quench or shopping thirst. Can u imagine its 10pm that the shop usually close. Sydney, can u beat that?

u hav arrived!

Like th GPS would say, u have arrived! Im here at bangkok and its huge! Airport. The city! Lots of things in stored for me. Im on a taxi on my way to my hotel. I still hav a jet lag after almost 10 hours of flying and 3 hours time difference. The place looks like cambodia! But a bit more modern.

on my way to bangkok!

Can't believe that i came so early at the airport and its so jampacked. My plane is so huge thats why theres heaps of people going to bangkok. Had a hurried lunch and goodbyes to family and friends. Now im just blogging my way to the boarding gate.

bowling and a hangover..

Last night I was an adopted counsilee of Maribel (Manager-Counsilor of Ghie, Dith and Joan). Though I know that this is there night as a counsilee-counsilor i know that i need a break. Sort of like a kick-off before going to Bangkok. Plus I know the group and I can squeeze in without slight hesitation from them. Thanks Maribel and the strike is for you!

Just when I thought I can go home and wash my clothes so that I include them on my luggage, they were planning to go have an ice cream. What the hell? I should join in. And what I did not expect is an endless wacky crazy conversation especially with Maribel's husband. I ended up sleeping and procrastinating again.. I can wash-dry-pack in one blow.

Now I'm just waiting for my train to airport and I guess I did it. but should i say it was a bit rough. O well, I even had a last spoon of conoseur before I left the house. Plus my ipod is set with four episodes of mcdemi *you know what i mean bevs!*...
