Dripping Coffee...

I'm still at e-cafe, finishing my work. I got a bit sleepy so I went to 12th floor to buy something. Bought a cup of coffee. Aya and Talen noticed that my cup of coffee is dripping. Good thing they told me before my pants soaked with coffee. LoLz! :D

Weird Tagalog Translations...

It seems that I'm in front of this computer for hours! THat is why I didn't fail to recognize that the quick keys on the taskbars were tagalized. Here's a sample:

  • Show Desktop - Ipakita ang Taas ng Mesa

  • Windows Explorer- Bintana ng Paghahanap

  • Internet Explorer- Ilunsad ang pangloob na kulambong paghahanap

    nyahahahaha :D :D

  • I was really tired last night that I forgot to turn off the computer! Damn! Plus... I forgot to set my alarm clock @ 3am. I was actually planning to finish my work early in the morning. I woke up at around 6:30 and I'm really really late. So I decided to just do it at office. GOod thing my boss is not that strict. I have all the time to finish it 'til 10:00.

What's up with me? Well, I'm fine and happy. Just received my second salary. Went yesterday to g4 to buy something that will make me lil happier. Went home after that. Bought pizza for my family. Yeah it really feels good treating your family. Anyway, gotta go now! still have tons of work to do...

    group bonding

Last Friday, I asked my officemates to watch a movie with me unfortunately when they already agreed the newly appointed partner, Boss Ladis, invited us for a dinner blowout at NBC-greenbelt. So naturally I have to decline my offer but they still went anywayz. Then the dinner... after the dinner we asked politely Boss Ladis to allow us to go home early. JB and I headed off to glorietta planning to watch a movie with her cousin. Then to my surprise, Owen & co were still at glorietta. They haven't watched a movie yet so the original plan was regained. After waiting for half an hour we went upstairs to buy tickets... Sold-out!! The next sked is 10:50 which means it'll end @ around 1:00am. We decided not to watch.. instead we planned for our next gimik which would be sometime next week. I'll jaz tell you more when the plan transpired.

    The Dinner

The dinner was fab and superb... Ziken, Pizza, Chips, Fries, Onion Rings, Pasta, etc... Amberi full after eating gazillion servings. And its a good idea that the new hires were spread out for us to know our senior collegues (spell check)... They told us different stories about their horrific experience in audit. They even told us info about our in-charge. Before I lost my appetite I ate the servings before I asked questions. Anyway, it's really a good thing I went to that party unfortunately I have to get our early bcoz I still want to watch a movie. But I promise this would be the last of the three "eat-and-run" that I'll do.

    job routine

I was a lil bit frustrated because I thought I would be doing a different job today. I finished doing The Hotel Trends thinking that once I finished them all I would be engaged in a client. Suprisingly, Miss Zhai gave me another month's Hotel Trend. *groans* I envy my clustermates because they were already assigned to different clients mostly hotels around Makati City. Anyway, Imma do my job accurately and quickly. Who knows maybe tomorrow or the next day I would already be assigned to a client I really want.

  • ~what a typhoon!

I was too busy awhile ago that i cannot afford a time to post. Anyway, the strong typhoon prevented my cluster and me to go PSE and take our lunch there. It was really crowded at E-cafe awhile ago. My mom texted me and told me that they were dismissed earlier because of Harurot (name of the typhoon). Shesh.. I'm stucked @ office doing so many things. Miss Zhai was giving me so many work... Photocopying... Reviewing Working Papers... Updating Files... Printing... etc... Anyway, I'm really really quite happy because my mom bought MG2! Yey! I have a copy!!

    SGV 57th Anniversary Party

The party was held at NBC Tent (The Fort). Bad Trip coz we weren't provided with the costume and all but what the heck! I enjoyed being with new people. Also enjoyed the food but before all that I have to surpass boringness and hunger. Yeah! We have to wait for about an hour or so to start the program and two more before we finally eat. Anyway, it's still sumkinda fun since its my first experience to party with these people! It's actually cool especially when I think about the whole galactic motiff (spell check). Mr. Wash Sycip actually portrayed Masta Yoda! Hehehe :)

Alpha Testing of My New Webbie

This'll just be a testing to ensure the effectiveness of my new codes...

    My First Salary

Awhile ago I checked the balance of my UCPB account and to my surprise I saw more than what I really really expected. I cashed them all and planning to give it ALL to my parents. I dunno but there is this feeling of triumph and sense of fulfillment on my part. It really felt good! I mean this is the first taste of the struggle i've been through all these days. And maybe all this years of investing knowledge, i guess.

Being tempted to spend some, I hurried home. Just in case I would see something worth buying since I am an impulsive buyer to that effect. It's a good thing that I have supressed the intensity of buying. With all due respect, I gave all of my salary to my mom. Though I am expecting that she'll return it (She did) I insist that she should take it. Fortunately (should I say) she said I should keep it and save it.

Well well right this very moment so many things are flying in my mind like what to buy. But I intend to spend it wisely. Til this time I have thought to keep it rather than spend it right away. There's really a big difference between the money you earned and the allowance given to you by your parents.

Anyway, its good to share this feeling because I've been dying to blog just practically about anything. Well, I reckon I should somehow celebrate such a joyous event. :)

    My Weekend

What a relief!! After a week-long training, I've finally have the time to give in to the persuits of my long forgotten hobbies. Watched coupla episodes of FRIENDS. Watched TV. And obviosly, I was surfing the net. But to my uncontrollable desires to further drown myself to my longingness of browsing through my favorite websites, I still have to read the materials that were furnished for the SGV Training. Luckily, I started on reading the "Just the Way It Happened: A Memoirs of Alfredo Velayo". It was goddam inspiring life of one the co-founders of SGV & Co. I dunno but after reading half-way through the book, I was captivated by how his life turned out to be successful. His life's not only an adventure but through his journey you will find lessons to learn in his life. Well, in a nutshell, I've learned that hardwork requires a great deal of time and energy but once it got paid-off you will not only enjoy it financially but something deep inside you would be fed up. Maybe sense of fullfilment.

    Birthday Party of Kikay

Yesterday I went to Las Pinas to attend to the birthday party of my friend Kikay. I enjoyed my stay there simply because I saw a cute girl there. Just kidding! I enjoyed very much just by looking at Kikay's expression. She seems very happy and its comforting to know that she really likes the present we (ochie and I) gave her. T'was a cute lil pup named Bruno. Anyway, Ody's there too together with Hans, Miggs, Allen, and the rest of DLSU peeps. It's really a good feeling when you've onced again interact with them. Talk about certain updates in your lives. Share laughs and uneasiness. Well, all-in-all, it's a terrific event.

    Tuesday, July 8, 2003

Yesterday was a tiring and stressfull day.

We haven't started formally on work but the orientation sucks!

I mean I could have dozed off if not for my candy.

    They're really terribly boring.

Anyway for the next two weeks we would be having training.

Again, I would not be formally working just yet.

Anyway, we are opt to choose our sked.

    It could be 7-4:30; 8-5:30; or 9-6:30.

I really wanted 7 but i really can't wake up that early

so I'll prolly choose 8 sked.

I'm dressing up but I had the sudden urge to post

and I think this would suffice my cravings. hehehe :)
