MFG PaRTY...

The cluster christmas party was held at different places. Mister ECP, Myleen, and myself went to Festival Mall to meet up and together go to Palms Country Club. We had a nice time there... Bowling and the KTV were really cool. The only thing frustrating is the badminton because I didn't have the chance to play. ANd from what I've heard it was billed per head playing... ANyway, we were suddenly hungry so JB, Nelly, Myleen, ECP, and myself went to Big Brothers and ate for awhile... At around 4pm we went to Alabang Country CLub for a basketball game. FInally, we went to MFG's place to finish the christmas party by dinner and lots of surprises. The new staff (including me) gave a hilarious presentation.. Some awards, games, raffle, and the exchange gift. I received "The Brethren" by John Grisham. THanks to Fabel. I went home @ around 11...

Love What You Do, or Do Something Else...

-----------------------------------------------

No one can succeed in any endeavor that they don't like.

If you don't love what you're doing, then don't do it.

Your chances of success are directly proportional

to the degree of pleasure you derive from what you do.

Do something that you have a deep personal interest in.

Do something you'd enjoy spending twelve to fifteen hours a day

working at, and the rest of the time thinking about.

Don't set compensation as your goal.

Find work you like and the compensation will follow.

Work is not your punishment.

It's your reward, your strength and your pleasure.

Real success is achieved when you like what you do.

When your vocation becomes your vacation,

you'll never work another day in your life.

Work is love made visible.

MC4 Christmas Party ~ hI$kuL r3unIoN...

Last Friday, we had a Market Circle-wide Christmas Party. The theme is obviously high schoolish... Anyway, I stayed out late 'til 1:30am since I was vying and expecting to win the cool hot prizes... Unfortunately, I didn't win! And to add with the mysery, we (Maylin, Me-ann, Helen, ECP, and another Me-ann) were stuck in Makati. No taxi cab wouldn't bother bringing us home. The only good thing that happened was the free fare c/o Mister ECP!! I arrived home around 3 in the morning. Next day, I still have to wake up early coz we're gonna have a cluster christmas party!!

untitled

It's quite late already. I thought we (my engagement team w/ pfizer) are going to work all night and sleep in the office. I'm quite happy and at the same time frustrated. The reason for the former is that I could go home a lil early tonight but I'm frustrated because I was looking forward in experiencing overnight at work. Anyway, I dunno but this week's been a hell. A bit of neglegence on my part that resulted into errors in my work. I charge it all to human error. Again, I was confronted by my devious side saying that I am not to be blamed because we all commit mistakes. Anyway, that's sunk cost! Let's move on...

Awhile ago, I withdrawed all of my money from UCPB Ayala Branch via ATM. And guess what happened? The stupid machine didn't give me any money. Shesh... I hate that machine!! Now, I have to suffer bankcruptcy just because the stupid cut-off says that they'll credit the money next Tuesday. How am I gonna survive? ...thanks to Emie coz she'll be lending me that amount. I still have to buy something for my mom. It's her birthday this coming Sunday.

Whew.. It's good to stop for a while from work and reflect on how the day is treating you. It's good to have a blog... At least I have somebody to relate this disastrous event..

Stress... stress... Stress...

I've been working my ass for coupla weeks now. Since the client's year-end would be this coming November 30, we should finish the interim procedures. Actually as of today I'm almost done with the interim audit. Just a little indexing and cross referencing and I'm finished... But then again, I still have to finish disposing the review points of my boss. Anyway, It's saturday and I'm terribly tired and just wanna go home and relax. I wanna go to the mall and cruise around. Check something new in the cinema. Surf the net more. Finish the novel that I'm reading. I wanna buy the new book of Mitch Alboln (author of Tuesday's with Moorie) entitled Five People You Meet in Heaven... Anyway I'm gonna hit the road and start achieving all this... Miss bloggin' for awhile... :)
Mariah's Concert in Manila ~ Charmbracelet World Tour

Watched the concert last November 16, 2003 (Sunday) @ the Global City - Fort. It's really frustrating at first since we waited for approximately 90 minutes before she sang one of my favorites--Heartbreaker. She was wearing a very seductive and revealing attire. Anyway, I was really fascinated with her voice. She was dazzling and amazing at the same time. It didn't fail to question myself if its really for real. Anyway, I enjoyed the show. Although you can somehow say that she aged a bit but still her voice continues to amuse us all. Here's the list of the songs she sang during her concert:

  • Heartbreaker

  • Dreamlover

  • Fantasy

  • Can't take them away

  • My all

  • Through the rain

  • If you give it to me

  • My saving grace

  • I'll be there

  • Always be my baby

  • Make it happen

  • Without you

  • Vision of love

  • Hero

By the way, it rained prior to the concert and I was thinking maybe that's when her grand entrance would fit in and she'll be singing ~ Through the rain... A play of fireworks were also shown before the concert started and I was also thinking that a helicopter would suddenly be flying above us while Mariah would jump with her parachute and singing ~ Honey.

    Some pictures...
