Last night, we had a mini college reunion organized by Jennypot. Had dinner @ NSG in GB1. After about 2+ hours some of them went home already. We transferred to Fuzion cafe. Had this really weird chair made of sumkinda plastic straw. Actually its not comfi since for most of the time I feel like my butt will break the helpless chair. Anyway, good thing we were moved to a nicer spot (see pictures below). Bad thing I wore an old sock which my thumb is peeking through and I can't remove my shoes...

Here's the list of those who came:

As a Senior Associate

Working as a Senior Associate has a helluva responsibilities. Basically, you have to manage the work of your staff. Review their work as it should be close-to-perfect when you present it as an evidence in the AWS. On top of that, you have to take charge of your staff's learning experience. You also have to critically assess the engagement you are handling and filter the risks that should be presented to your manager/director. The responsibilities are flowing endlessly on you. Not only minimal contact with your superior but he leaves with you the critical decision you should apply on the engagement. Well, after my boss' one-week training, I got a lil occupied with work. Not that I resent this sense of work-maturity, it actually goes right to my skin. I have to admit that after a premature 2-year experience, its not enough for me to carryout these responsibilities. Time and again, SGV has given me a bulk of challenges to face with. Well, I have to finish these voluminous tasks ahead. At least for quite a minute there, I was able to extract some thoughts I've been longing to take out from my system.

Fengshui Horoscope

Due to boringsome, I tried answering one of the forwards I received. Just plain curious to the result of the horoscope. After answering couple of questions ranging the first letter of my initial to my favorite color, inasmuch as I want to think that its absurd, I tend to agree on my result somehow. Here's how ma' result look like:

You are spontaneous and love kisses and affection from the one you love. You try to enjoy your life to the maximum and your lovelife is soon to blossom. You will have a great year and will experience a major life-changing experience for good. Your life will take on a direction, it will seem hard at time but will be the best thing for you, you will be glad for the change. You like adventure. You are loyal to your friends and your lover and are very reversed.

Well basically, the first portion is somewhat okay with me. And probably I could accept the third sentence. I'm actually afraid of the change he's talking about on the fourth sentence. On the last sentence, I don't know what you mean by reversed. Hmm.. That I'm not loyal to my lover(watta term!!)? Or you may say that I have a reverse treatment for them in a special kinda way. I prefer the latter of course.
A Blasphemous Movie and a Really Weird Movie Audience

Yesterday, after going to the knitty-gritty application process in procuring my CPA license, I thought why not relax and watch a movie. Roi and Jing quickly agreed to my proposition. But what actually happened is a disaster! We went to SM North Edsa to watch a movie, entitled "D'Anothers". First look at the movie house and you can see that its an old style cinema wherein the movie price is split depending on your desired location. The upper level being much expensive. And lower level which is for a more afforable price. Knowing that its not really big a deal wherever you stay. But I got it all wrong. Imagine an audience filled with public highschool boys, who seemed to be cutting their classes. I think they're fucking members of a frat. They were soooo annoying. Mind you, not the typical annoying movie-goer that would talk or comment while watching the movie but they are literally shouting-off their heads of for their useless, nonsense, irritbale comments. And to add-up to your "already" miserable life in that cinema, the movie your watching is blaphemous and so typical. In what way? Well the main character is "Hesus Ressurecion" to start-off. And they're making fun of him in a subtle and obvious ways which is plainly sacreligious to hear by any typical catholic. And with regards to its typicality, the usual production number wherein the characters are dancing crazy. Anyway, going back I really really don't understand is what the hell are MTRCB doing not banning the film. Maybe since it is not a sexually depicting film nor its title suggest, it was clearly been approved. Aren't they watching the essence of the movie? Or did they really review the film? Furthermore, there were various scenes when they play church songs which is clearly not appropriate since they are playing the songs for a satire. Church songs are for praising God alone!! Plus, scenes were divided by showing titles of the chapter scene of the film. Various chapter are really blasphemous with the use of "Hesus" as the title. Whatdaheck is MTRCB doing against this kind of films?! Maybe savoring their power to review sexual films and focuses on those to fill their own personal desires.. It's really a shame.
Improve PRC, Please...

Yesterday, I went to PRC with Jing and Roi. As early as 8:30 I was already getting my picture taken since they need 2 passport-size and 1x1 picture with name tag on it. Then, right after that we went straight to PRC. Already finished accomplishing the Oath Form and already got it meter-stamped. In search for Window 27, we experienced a hassle snake-like queue that seems to be in a havoc. I can't find which way to go since people are scattered everywhere. After awhile, we already found the right window but not the right woman, who (without any reason at all) becomes angry at me demanding me to get my papers done before going to her window. To add to her rotten mischievous ways, after processing my papers (which at that time I still don't know if she already finished doing it) she blatantly asked me what am I still doing there when I should clearly go to the next window and I'm blocking her way. Shesh.. Without controlling my emotions, I blurted out words that a professional shouldn't do. I said that she should have told me that everything's okay and I may proceed to window blah-blah (in sort of nice way). My blood pressure quickly rose to the its peak. It quickly occured to me that these people are government workers and I can't help but regain the stereotype that they are stubborn idiots who really hate their job (ouch! too harsh..). Anyway, there's a lot of improvement that should be done to PRC. Since their clients are prospective professionals and professionals itself, they should be treating them as one. Moreover, sad to say the place is too crowded and so small that clearly suggest discomfort and annoyance. You may not even know where you're headed. Plus the forefront personal should be polite and know how to deal with people. It really pisses anyone if they will experience something like what I went into. So, I urgently request the administration of PRC to improve their service and everything else.

The Many Faces of Rondz

It's sunday night and boringness has slowly crept its way towards me. So basically having a digi cam on one itching hand, I began taking photo shoot of myself making weird faces. Don't get me wrong I'm not a total weirdo or a narcistic schmuck. It's just that as I mentioned earlier, there's nothing to do. Just click away the thumbnails for me, please...

Guys, sorry for all this crappy pictures. Just want to do something over the weekend besides finishing off my share of AWS and SBDG (which are applications used to document our audit)...
